I think that depend on what i want to buy too.
Don't you have some sort of analytics department? I mean they have to conduct such types of researches, don't they? I mean this is how you will get s proper information, if that matters. I read that people more and more buy online, especially after COVID 19 have emerged, so this is an answer, and if you want fit to new tendencies, i suggest you multi vendor marketplace development i hope you know about Amazon and Ebay and can imagine the model of their work
I think that depend on what i want to buy. If i'm sure, than online is preferable and if i am not, than i'd rather go to some shop and search for needed item there, it is all simple
